Florida Aquarium
The Florida Aquarium is a must-see for creatures of the wetlands and the ocean. Not only are there alligators, but also exotic tropical fish, a diverse coral garden and a 4-D theater, where sensory elements are added to a 3-D film.

Tampa Riverwalk
The Tampa Riverwalk curves its way along Tampa’s downtown area and is the ultimate promenade for local and cultural action, including picture-perfect sites, tasty food trucks and plenty of museums. A 2.6-mile trail, it runs beside the Hillsborough River and is an ideal place to catch a sunset.
Henry B. Plant Museum
Explore historic collections, manicured gardens and even a large canon from the Spanish-American War at the Henry B. Plant Museum. The institution, once owned by railroad tycoon Henry Plant and part of the Tampa Bay Hotel, rests on the grounds of and inside a colossal Victorian mansion fused with English, Baroque and Asian motifs.

Tampa Theatre
Built in 1926, the Tampa Theatreshows foreign, classic and contemporary films inside a dazzling mix of Renaissance, Byzantine and Greek Revival architecture constructed to resemble a Mediterranean garden – with gargoyles! It was once considered one of the world’s most elaborate theaters and is also open for 90-minute tours.

Ybor City
Ybor City is a National Historic Landmark District founded by cigar baron Vicente Martinez Ybor. Originally the site of a factory, it now houses many shops, galleries, restaurants, cafes and historical buildings. Walk along the brick streets and take a ride on an historic streetcar while you’re there.

ZooTampa at Lowry Park
See a wide variety of wild animals in natural habitats at ZooTampa at Lowry Park. In addition, you’ll find a safari ride through the African exhibit, several “backstage” activities and a large care center for manatees, allowing you to get a closer look.
